Took our longest subway trip so far from 42nd
Street to Battery Park. Got some photos of the New York Stock exchange before
heading off Pier 17, which has not opened since hurricane Sandy. The weather
was much warmer today so decided to take a leisurely walk along the Greenway
pathway with views of Brooklyn Heights, Staten Island Ferry Terminal, Battery
Park and the very busy Wall Street Heliport (counted 8 helicopters on the pad
at one time). Spent the afternoon eating ice cream in Bryant park and then back
to watch the Dodgers play game 2 of the series.
