Day 1 of the hop-on-hop-off bus ticket took
us downtown past Macy’s, Madison Square Garden (80,000 seat stadium), Empire
State Building, Flatiron, Chrysler Tower, Greenwich village, SoHo, Wall Street,
Battery Park & United Nations. So much traffic…. Yellow taxi’s everywhere.
Perfectly clear night (bit chilly) enabled us to take the night tour of
Downtown, Midtown, Little Italy and Chinatown. Breathtaking views looking
towards the night skyline of Manhattan Island from Brooklyn Heights.
