Day 7: the happiest place on earth

What an amazing place Disneyland is. So much fun. As soon as we stepped inside gate Minnie turned up for a photo opportunity. Needless to say Loz was one of the first in line. Can't believe how fast those 12 hours went. Favorite rides were.... Space Mountain (roller coaster ride in the dark), Splash mountain (log ride with a 50 foot drop at here end), The Matterhorn (bob sled roller coaster) & Indiana Jones. The haunted mansion was a big one (it's Halloween over here). They had 20 or so radio stations broadcasting live from the front garden of the manor. It's a small, small world and Jungle River Cruise were still two of our favorites.  Friday nights are the best nights to visit Disneyland as they have two special late night events.. Fantasmic is a laser show with the storyline of Mickey and the broomstick. AMAZING. Finished the night watching the fireworks explode over the fairy tale castle. Tinkerbell flew above the castle (about 200 feet in the air) as the night sky was lit up with pops, bangs and sparkles.
