Day 1: Sydney to LAX

Arrived at LAX about 30 minutes earlier than scheduled time. Good flight. Entertainment system on the A380 is awesome. Jumped straight onto the hop on hop off bus for a visit to Santa Monica and Beverly Hills. Mum and Loz loved Rodeo Drive. Might have to stay away from that area if we hope to financially survive this holiday. Blake kept falling asleep on bus so we took a drink break at the Grove (Just near farmers market). Luckily our hotel is only about 5 minutes walk to a Westfield so we have plenty of eating options. Climbed into bed about 10.30pm. Blake calculated that he lasted 33 hours without sleep.
